A Look Inside the Role...

To apply for this role, you should be comfortable in building and engineering data for a large scale Business Intelligence (BI) platform to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. Strong communication and problem-solving skills will be crucial. You should have a background in data acquisition and normalization. In this role you will implement development skill and business intelligence solutions to achieve data reporting and analysis goals. 

Responsibilities

• Build data intake pipelines for the Data Lake
• Review and validate customer data as it is collected
• Write code for the collection and analysis of data
• Work with local and oversea team to provide business insights from the data
• Build security into every layer
• Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies

You already have these qualifications and love what you do:

• Experience with at least one compiled programming language: Java, Scala (preferred), or C#
• Strong SQL required
• Experience with at least one streaming system (Kafka, Flink, Akka Streams)
• Experience with API building (including security, performance)
• Knowledge of Functional programming
• Some experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Ability to adapt to shift priorities and timelines by exercising keen judgement
• Self-motivated individual who can set and meet simultaneous short- and long- term goals
• Experiences working with multi-location teams
