Machine Learning is a critical piece to process the huge amount of imagery we acquire at scale. In that context, the machine learning team is dedicated to extracting quantifiable information from nationwide ultra-high-resolution imagery leveraging the vast geospatial database that EagleView has built over the last 10 years. We combine our one-of-a-kind data, our cloud-base ML pipeline, and the latest Deep Learning and Computer Vision research to improve existing products and create new ones.
We are looking for a Senior Data and Applied Scientist to join the Machine Learning team capable of designing and executing deep learning solutions, staying up to date with the latest AI research and translating business requirements into Machine Learning products.

Primary Responsibilities

• Architect machine learning pipelines to extract information from our imagery.
• Design and train deep learning models
• Mine, refine and maintain data for training and testing.
• Design and deliver prototype demonstrations and presentations for external audiences.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in the definition and implementation of machine learning models, including mentoring other team members and communicating with the company at large.

• Master's degree (PhD preferred) in computer science, engineering, applied mathematics, or related field.
• 3+ years' experience developing Deep Learning/Machine Learning solutions.
• In depth understanding of deep learning techniques (in particular computer vision applications).
• Experience with pytorch, mxnet, tensorflow, keras or similar framework.
• Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
• Strong python experience.
• Ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience working with geospatial data, remote sensing, aerial/satellite images, etc.
• Experience as a team leader or mentor.
• Experience with cloud development in AWS or similar.
