The Sr. Machine Learning Engineer will be part of the Personalization team. As a Sr. ML Engineer, you will focus on developing and deploying personalization and recommender systems, algorithms, and models to drive delightful personalized content discovery experience. You will partner closely with product and engineering stakeholders across WBD to identify ML opportunities, accelerate AI innovation, and ensure the delivery of impactful solutions for the business.
Responsibilities
- Work with data scientists, data engineers to design best-suited, robust, and scalable ML solutions and evaluate the deployed ML model's effectiveness.
- Write robust production-level code and engage in code reviews.
- Deploy ML model pipelines, scale through Big Data, optimize performance.
- Integrate with A/B test platform to experiment with multiple model variants.
- Enhance our machine learning infrastructure.
- Design and implement data pipelines and data quality controls.
- Raise the bar on SDLC and CI/CD practices.
Qualifications
- Technical education in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience (Masters degree or higher preferred).
- Has 5+ years of relevant and hands-on experience in Machine Learning Engineering with a track record of building high quality, scalable and robust ML solutions.
- Has strong experience in incrementally building big data product and production pipelines to support product functionalities, data and analytic functions.
- Is flexible and comfortable working in a dynamic team environment with a distributed organization and minimal process.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Python and OOP languages like GoLang, Java, and C++.
- Familiarity with data science techniques, hands-on experience with ML frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with recommender/search/ad serving systems/algorithms is a big plus.
