What you’ll do
You will work closely with Product and Operation teams, along with a wide array of partners, to design and build world-class data & BI platform on prem and Cloud environment. You will make meaningful dashboards out of usage data of various tools.
You will design, develop and implement BI platforms across a variety of tools (Tableau, Qlik, SAP BO, MicroStrategy, etc)
You will solve complex engineering challenges related to delivering a set of scalable, flexible and reliable multi-tenant BI platforms
You will partner with DSP Operations teams to ensure effective end to end support of tier 3 support issues
You'll participate in the review and project work to ensure that objectives, expectations and standards are met
You will commit to ongoing improvement in the ecosystem to delivering features including monitoring, instrumentation, deployment capabilities enabling platform reliability, scalability and resiliency
You ensure the ongoing relevance of the platform by enabling and delivering a rapid upgrade and refresh cadence
Deliver proof of concepts, pilots and product evaluations to accelerate the onboarding of new BI capabilities in partnership with DSP Product Management
Collaborate and mentor with junior team member to grow the skills within the team and across brand partners.
Who are you
BS in Computer Science or a related engineering field, MS preferred
5+ years Software & Platform and Application Development experience with a focus on business intelligence and analytics tools
Hand’s on experience across variety of BI platform eco system including BI in the cloud and vendor SaaS BI implementations
Experience across multiple server operating system, hardware and virtualization platforms & hands on Linux scripting is preferred.
Experience working in a diverse multi-vendor commercial and open source data management stack (including Hadoop, Teradata, EMR, Redshift, Qubole, etc)
Good communication and presentation skills and the ability to explain technical details and challenges to a wide variety of .
Demonstrated ability to look at solutions in creative and unconventional ways, recognize opportunities to innovate, and engage partners
Ability to navigate a diverse organization with global, decentralized teams working across multiple locations
