Client Success Engineer, Placed
Placed is the market leader in location-driven insights and ad intelligence. We're a fast-growing organization headquartered in downtown Seattle, focusing on connecting the physical and digital worlds to give brands, agencies, publishers and ad networks the ability to target location at scale, measure the offline impact of ads and deliver actionable insights into consumer behavior.
We are looking for a Client Success Engineer in our Seattle office. Placed’s Client Success Engineers are versatile developers who can own our client integration pipeline, including onboarding new partners and clients, developing and customizing internal solutions, and making improvements in the product to reduce issues and complexity.
Specifically, what you will do:
- Build tools to onboard and validate new partners and clients
- Act as first technical point of contact on Placed’s product for our Client Engagement Team
- Data Analytics and Analysis into Pixel delivery and Attribution Reports
- Develop code in both Placed’s Products and automation infrastructure to continually remove manual bottlenecks
- Coordinate with Product team to prototype new concepts before productionalization
- Work with Data Scientists to automate new innovations
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-3 years work experience with the following:
- Shell and scripting development
- Ruby and/or Python
- Experience in a mobile, analytics or digital advertising technology company
- SQL or other Database query languages
- Experience working with a variety of data formats including JSON, XML, CSV, etc.
- Experience in a role that leveraged Client Facing communications working with clients and Account Managers
- Experience restarting services and general server interaction through a shell interface
- Demonstrated ability in a role that requires effective onboarding new clients and solve technical issues as they arise
- Ability to act as the technical liaison between account management and development/product management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven track record of working within a fast paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment
- Math experience and ability to apply to statistical data analysis
- Experience working with third party API sets for both data ingest and export
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple technical implementations and integrations simultaneously
- Embraces task delivery, with a strong urge to resolve as many items as possible quickly and at quality; Willingness to ‘wear several hats’
- Strong background in solving technical issues and communicating the resolution status to appropriate individuals
- Ability to act as a technical subject matter expert in Location Analytics, Mobile, and Ad technologies
- Ability to identify areas for process improvement and make actionable recommendations
