WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

In support of Xpanse's production infrastructure, you will:

• Build and maintain a multi-region, cloud network and its connections.
• Work with a team of Developers, Architects, and DevOps engineers to design, implement and deploy automated solutions for cloud networking and security services.
• Maintain code repositories and related systems supporting initiatives around "infrastructure as code".
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems within existing cloud networking solutions.
• Script automated solutions and integrations using Terraform.
• Design and Documentation of Cloud Architecture Solutions.
• Ensure security is inherent all architecture solutions to meet compliance standards.

WHO YOU ARE

• Cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure) networking and security experience required.
• Strong knowledge of the TCP/IP model layers and protocols.
• Experience with of data encryption techniques for both data-in-transit and data-at-rest.
• Significant expertise of cloud load balancers, NextGen Firewalls and Web Application Firewalls.
• Experience with securing web traffic specifically HTTPS/TLS protocols and certificate management.
• Experience using AWS VPC, Transit Gateway develop and deploy enterprise networks.
• Experience using one of terraform and Python Scripting to deploy, monitor and secure cloud resources.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess a thorough understanding of Internet based technologies (DNS, Security, IP Routing, SSH, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, Email Routing, etc.).
• A platform-agnostic understanding of security platform management, including encryption, secrets, and SSL certificate management.
• In conjunction with a desire to "integrate everything", the perfect candidate has a desire to "document everything".
• Collaborative, team focus with experience working in a 24x7 uptime environment with an on-call component.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Experience working in Security in with a 100% cloud-based enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with NGINX a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5-7 years of networking experience
• Significant expertise in at least one of Palo Alto, F5 or Cisco firewalls
• Working knowledge of Remote Access VPN solutions
• Excellent documentation skills including creating and maintaining network diagrams and documenting security processes
• Working knowledge of network fundamentals: Ethernet, VLAN, TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, NTP, SNMP, IPSec, NAT, DNS and DHCP
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work well independently and with a team
• Experience programming in Python is a plus
• AWS knowledge is an added advantage.
