Infobip is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Developer Evangelist Advocate to help assemble an all-new Developer Awareness team, that sits under the Developer Relations team. The team is tasked to build the strong brand awareness throughout the developer community around advocating not only Infobip’s products, but also by altruistically assisting developers around the globe with whatever issue they may have. The team is fully remote which enables you to work for anywhere but also create a diverse and global team. 

Job Description

Why is this role important at Infobip? 

Our new Developer Awareness team is creating not only new and innovative ways how to share Infobip technological achievements and knowledge with the rest of the IT community, but also to assist the developer community as a whole. As a Developer Advocate Manager, you will be dedicated to forming, creating and leading a team that will assist in your task on creating the awareness of Infobip as a brand and Infobip's communication services and public APIs.

What will you do at Infobip?

  • Involves actively in developer outreach activities, from hosting hackathons to running webinars.
  • Acts a thought leader and inspires people in the Developer space through blog posts, proof of concepts, or other means that developed end-to-end. 
  • Acts as a critical internal customer: gets his/her hands on our new software, and evaluates how developer friendly and complete our offerings are. Clearly communicates this to the product teams, and helps them make our products better.
  • Identifies key technology trends, and uses Infobip’s products to build demo’s, proof of concepts or other content around this technology. 
  • Builds solid professional relationships and rapports with our developer customer base. 
  • Is a Infobip representative towards developer customer base and in the wider developer community. 
  • Builds, leads, coordinates and organizes high-performing teams 
  • Is accountable for the delivery of teams by ensuring a productive work environment and removing impediments. 
  • Drives recruitment, retention and scaling plans in coordination with POP, ensuring optimal growth.
  • Tracks performance and motivation of his members, identifying competency gaps and supporting people growth. 
  • Promotes Infobip values and culture. 

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in Dev Rel/Dev Advocate position. 
  • Passionate about building new products and sharing knowledge with the community. 
  • Any experience in leading teams. 
  • Wide coding experience in various full-stack web technology stacks (PHP, JavaScript, Java, node.js, python, angular, etc.). 
  • Fluent English and experience of speaking to technical audiences on webinars, meetups, conferences, etc. 

Nice to have: 

  • Familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, Canary or similar.
  • Experience in technologies such as Groovy, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes or others. 
  • Contribution to open-source projects.
  • Ready to adopt, implement or propose new technologies.
  • Experience in writing blog posts, hosting podcasts, facilitating workshops and seminars.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.

Location

Our company is in the Lower Queen Anne area with a beautiful view of Elliott Bay. The office is a short distance to a variety of restaurants/shops.
