Infobip is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Developer Relations Lead to help assemble an all-new Developer Relations team. The team is tasked to build the strong developer community around the plethora of Infobip’s commutation products. The team is fully remote which enables you to work for anywhere but also create a diverse and global team. 

Job Description

Why is this role important at Infobip?

Our new Developer Relations Department is creating new and innovative ways how to share Infobip technological achievements and knowledge with the rest of the IT community. As a Developer Relations Lead you will be dedicated to creating a team that will assist in the awareness, the awareness, enablement and engagement of developers with Infobip's communication services and public APIs.

What will you do at Infobip?

  • You will lead an all-new DevRel team in Infobip, helping build and form this from scratch. 
  • Is accountable for the delivery of teams by ensuring a productive work environment and removing impediments. 
  • Drives recruitment, retention and scaling plans in coordination with POP, ensuring optimal growth. 
  • Tracks performance and motivation of his members, identifying competency gaps and supporting people growth. 
  • Promotes Infobip values and culture. 
  • Bring new external developers to the Infobip’s Development ecosystem. 
  • lead conversations in the community about best practices in the field of Cloud Communication platforms. 
  • Develop demo projects and showcases for using Infobip public API. 
  • Develop and research new ways to improve developer workflows and practices.
  • Contribute to API documentation and technical user guides.
  • Focus on investigating and providing open-source solutions.
  • Brainstorm with a team about new technical solutions and possible improvements.
  • Be a regular contributor to engineering community.
  • If interested, occasionally speak at podcasts, seminars, conferences, etc.
  • Expand and improve your knowledge both internally and externally and innovate on how we engage the rest of the engineering community.
  • Work within agile framework (Scrum, LESS) and have a dedicated Product Manager. 

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in Dev Rel/Dev Advocate position. 
  • Passionate about building new products and sharing knowledge with the community. 
  • Have led or been a key influencer in developer advocacy teams. 
  • Wide coding experience in various full-stack web technology stacks (PHP, JavaScript, Java, node.js, python, angular, etc.) 
  • Fluent English and experience of speaking to technical audiences on webinars, meetups, conferences, etc.

Nice to have:

  • Familiar with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, Canary or similar.
  • Experience in technologies such as Groovy, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes or others.
  • Contribution to open-source projects.
  • Ready to adopt, implement or propose new technologies.
  • Experience in writing blog posts, hosting podcasts, facilitating workshops and seminars.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.

Location

Our company is in the Lower Queen Anne area with a beautiful view of Elliott Bay. The office is a short distance to a variety of restaurants/shops.
