iOS Engineer

This role allows you to work from anywhere you choose across the U.S. (excluding U.S. territories), with the flexibility to work from the Seattle HQ office as often as you’d like.
Your role and impact
As an iOS Engineer on the SDK squad, you will be responsible for making our iOS application easy to integrate for our commercial partners, including but not limited to:
- Creating standard interfaces for integrating with third parties
- Transforming our current application into a portable solution for commercial clients Owning and improving the member experience for 98point6 and third-party contexts
Responsibilities
- Participating in code and design reviews, ensuring the quality of both
- Building APIs that are used by engineering teams outside of 98point6
- Working across multiple squads to ensure that the right trade-offs are being made in how SDK evolves
- Managing the foundation of our production application that patients, doctors and clinical staff depend upon
- Making technology and implementation choices that impact multiple squads in the iOS code base
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience designing and coding in Swift or Objective-C
- A deep understanding of Swift and Cocoa
- One or more demonstrable native (non web-view based) applications in the Apple App store
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Background building and testing performant, memory-safe applications
- Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed
- Ability to think big and help innovate in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with reactive programming preferred, particularly with frameworks such as RxSwift or Combine
- Background in encryption and secure data persistence and transfer preferred
