Description

We are looking for a motivated Security Operations Engineer with strong technical and problem-solving skills to join the team at LevelTen, reporting to the Director of Cybersecurity. This individual will be responsible for working with our Director of Cybersecurity and the Engineering team to implement and maintain cybersecurity controls to protect the organization’s applications and critical data.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud security operations, including monitoring and managing threats
• Proactively manage various technical implementations required for the organization’s security and compliance
• Responsible for vulnerability management and remediation
• Responsible for application QA and testing for security issues
• Implement and manage single sign on
• Responsible for ensuring effective identity and access management
• Build strong working relationships with the entire LevelTen team and promote security throughout the company
• Plan and lead incident response tabletop exercises
• Assist with application deployments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge and experience in cybersecurity fundamentals (application security, identity and access management, incident response)
• Knowledge of secure coding best practices and application
• Demonstrated experience in programming or scripting, specifically Python
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience working in a cloud environment
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in identity and access management
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with VPN technology
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with SQL databases and light scripting
• Preferred experience with single sign on implementation 
• Preferred experience in QA and testing in a cloud environment
• Preferred System Administration experience
