Xealth is looking to add a new role to our team, a Senior or Lead Software Engineer.

As a Senior or Lead Software Engineer at Xealth, you will:

• Working across the full-stack development (UI, APIs, DB, Analysis) using TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js and ReactJS, 
• Work in a Scrum team / agile environment implementing functionality across the product stack delivering company-wide impact 
• Develop efficient, scalable cloud-native applications with a test driven approach
• Make a real, positive difference in other people's lives through your work

Our ideal Senior or Lead Software Engineer will have:

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience in a modern programming language including: JavaScript/TypeScript/Java/C# or equivalent
• Backend development experience with TypeScript/JavaSript, Node.js and relational (SQL, Postgres, Aurora, etc.) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, CouchDB, Cosmos DB) based Data Storage
• Experience developing SaaS enterprise solutions leveraging commercial cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) providers
• Enterprise Software architecture and development experience in B2B, B2C, or B2B2C
• Degree in Computer Science, including coursework in algorithms, data structures, software design, operating systems, and/or strong CS fundamentals
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate within and across teams

Nice-to-haves:

• Prior experience as an SDE at an early-stage startup
• Experience committing code to open-source projects, interesting/curious personal projects
• Analytics, ETL data processing and Machine Learning experience (or strong desire to learn)
• Frontend development experience with ReactJS framework, CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
• HealthIT or Healthcare Industry Experience
• Familiarity and experience with modern cloud technologies, such as containers (docker preferred) and serverless architecture
• Experience in healthcare 
• Attention to detail and perseverance to succeed
• Calculated risk-taking and ability to lead
