Software Development Engineer, Web, Placed

We're a fast-growing organization headquartered in downtown Seattle, focusing on connecting the physical and digital worlds to give brands, agencies, publishers, and ad networks the ability to target location at scale, measure the offline impact of ads and deliver actionable insights into consumer behavior.
We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer to join Placed, a subsidiary of Snap Inc! As a member of our web Product team, you will contribute to the design and development of our customer-facing applications, which provides advanced customer and advertising analytics to many of the country’s biggest brands and retailers. Working from our Seattle, WA headquarters, you’ll partner with Product, Inference, and other engineering teams to develop clean and intuitive applications that provide meaningful analytics atop immense amounts of data.
What you’ll do:
- Own development for one or more of our front-end products
- Partner with key product owners, customers, and engineering leadership to identify correct priorities of development
- Build new features and iterate on existing ones, improving customer experiences and increasing analytic results
- Work closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to create great customer experiences
- Mentor junior engineering staff through the development process
What we’re looking for:
- BS degree in computer science or related technical field
- 2+ years of software development experience on enterprise or consumer web apps
- Experience building data visualizations (ex. D3.js)
- Production experience with Angular, React, or Ember
- Familiarity writing tests with front-end testing frameworks (i.e. Mocha, Chai)
