We are seeking a Engineering Manager to set up a high caliber technology team with seasoned engineers and technologists, work closely with science team to advance the state of the art and partner with the product team to shape up a product that fundamentally changes how customers use conversation intelligence tech and build solutions that scale.

Who you are:

  • Extremely Technical - you are capable of making meaningful contributions at all points in the product development cycle. PoCs, architecture, scalability, owning customer conversations, and providing deep technical assistance are all well within your wheelhouse.
  • Quantitative & analytical - strong aptitude for problem-solving and continuous process improvement.
  • Adaptable - this is, by nature, a rapidly evolving role, you affect change and drive results in chaotic and unstructured environments.
  • Discerning - Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.

  • Extraordinary communicator - you possess the ability to synthesize complex concepts explaining them simply and accurately.

Why we want to meet you:

  • You have 8+ years of experience working directly within engineering teams
  • You have experience partnering with product OR program management teams
  • You have 3+ years of people management experience, managing engineers
  • You have 3+ years of experience architecting and designing (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
  • You have bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
  • You have 12+ years of software engineering experience
  • You have 4+ years managing software engineering teams
  • You have understanding of software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, build processes, testing, and operations
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with tech and non-tech customers
  • You have the knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries and frameworks (e.g. Angular/React, HTML/ CSS, JavaScript).
  • You have hands-on experience with one or more back-end languages like Python, NodeJS.
  • You are experienced with database design with SQL or NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch.
  • You know software engineering best practices such as software development life cycles, coding standards, code reviews, distributed revision control systems, continuous test/build/deploy, and production support.
  • You are experienced with agile software development principles and processes.
  • You are experienced in Cloud Environments like GCP (Google Cloud Platform) or AWS.

  • Join a team that runs lean, iterates fast and obsessed for extremely delightful customer experience.
  • Carry a ton of responsibility and provides opportunities to impact customers’ satisfaction and grow the business exponentially.
  • Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
  • Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code

Metrics you’ll move:

  • Engineering team velocity in the US
  • Quality of Product including uptime, SLOs, adoption and NPS
  • Growth of the team that reports to you
