The Path Forward Return to Work program at Amazon is a 16- week paid returnship for experienced professionals returning to the workforce after taking time off for caregiving. The program is open to women and men who have at least 5 years of professional experience and have been out of the paid workforce for at least two years to focus on caring for a child or other dependent. If you meet these criteria, we welcome you to apply.

At Amazon, we are excited to be part of the Path Forward program because we appreciate the skills you can offer, the perspective you provide, and the contributions you will make. This program offers you a chance to revamp your skills, update your resume with new experience, and make connections with other women and men transitioning back to the workforce. It also offers support through Path Forward, a nonprofit organization on a mission to empower people who’ve been focused on caregiving transition back to the paid workforce.

This program is 100% virtual during the 16 week returnship program. There is a possibility of a full time offer conversion post returnship. These full time offers will likely be based out of Seattle, and all full time opportunities will offer relocation packages. There are four returnship opportunities on Amazon's Selling Partner Services team now open for application:

Software Development Engineer, Merchant Technologies

Software Development Engineer

Software Engineer II, Imaging Science

About the Amazon Selling Partner Services Team

Small businesses rely on Amazon as a trusted partner to enable them to reach millions of customers worldwide and help them grow their businesses, while also providing them with a safe place to sell their products. We have teams at Amazon responsible for finding, engaging, working with, and innovating on behalf of small businesses to help them be successful — on and off Amazon.com.  Our teams span a wide range of functional areas, from investigators keeping transactions on our platform safe to machine learning scientists and software developers helping to drive new approaches to solving technical problems. What all of our teams have in common is a strong desire to see sellers succeed. Today, as a result of our work, over half of the units purchased on Amazon.com are sold by third party sellers through Marketplace.

Technology is at the heart of our work and we see the direct impact of what we do in the success of the sellers we work with and the expanded selection they provide to customers. Explore roles in Selling Partner Services and take part in creating the future or retail for sellers and customers.
