Sr. Software Development Engineer - Full Stack

Our next-generation Remote Patient Monitoring platform enables medical teams to provide safe, effective remote care that improves patient outcomes, lowers patient medical expenses, and generates new, much-needed revenue streams for healthcare providers of all sizes. As the market leader in physician-led remote patient monitoring, we help patients better work together with their most-trusted healthcare advocate, their existing physician, to achieve lasting health improvements and catch early warning signs before they escalate.
We are looking for a Software Engineer who wants a new challenge at a fast-growing, digital health startup. You’ll have a direct impact on the optimize.health platform and will be quickly given ownership of a large part of our codebase. Your work will be critical in maintaining and developing new web services within our HIPAA-compliant platform.
You must have experience working on an agile software team that has developed and shipped software to users. You must have experience writing test cases, reviewing code, managing releases, tracking bugs, and maintaining production deployments.
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or other relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of experience
- At least 5 years of experience building scalable web applications
- Preference for a great demo or portfolio of past work
- Healthcare / Wellness industry experience is strongly preferred
Must Have Skills
- 5 years professional software development experience
- 3 years experience with and a solid grasp of Javascript

- Network infrastructure: DNS, Security, Subnets, etc.
