THE OPPORTUNITY
We are hiring a Technical Solution Architect to join our Client Professional Services team in the United States.
This position reports to the Global Director of Client Tech Sales and Professional Services.
This role requires the capacity to handle integration solution design complexities, to assure that the full breadth and depth of requirements are addressed, and to technically lead the implementation, test, and production delivery stages for each solution.
This Architect must be comfortable communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, both business and technical. Every day, the Architect will be challenged to think creatively about how to improve, scale, and support Gympass' exponential growth through Professional Services while satisfying all stakeholder needs.
YOUR IMPACT

  • Work cross-functionally with Technical Sales, Clients, HRIS/Payroll System Providers, Product Development, and other global teams to deliver value-added custom projects that also respect Gympass' defined architectural boundaries
  • Define solutions extending the standard Gympass platform as required to integrate client and HRIS system provider applications, using a wide range of analytical problem-solving skills, business analysis methodologies, and integration design techniques
  • Technically lead the implementation, test, and production delivery stages for each solution


WHO YOU ARE

  • Proven track record defining and delivering custom system integration projects, leading cross-functional internal and external teams
  • Ability to design, optimize, and integrate data exchange and API flows across disparate systems, conducting detailed analysis with partners and clients to confirm solution feasibility
  • Exceptional architecture and technical design skills, with an attention to detail and the ability to keep multiple solution projects organized
  • In-depth technical background in system integration for data exchange, encompassing related approaches (SFTP, SSO, ETL, API integration, etc)
  • In-depth understanding of software development, database management, and methods of exchanging data to assist in client alignment and approval of solution designs
  • Experience developing solutions using Javascript with Node.js Framework, and MongoDB with Javascript for data storage and processing.
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment with technical stakeholders
    Ability to work with a team of varied individuals with complex, multinational backgrounds in different time zones
  • Ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner, calibrating all stakeholder expectations
  • Experience leading UAT or other testing related strategies, designs, and implementations, overseeing end-to-end testing, including testing scenarios, analysis and result reporting across all stakeholders
  • Passion for exceptional solution documentation, including all related artifacts like integration diagrams, how to guides, etc, ensuring the production roll-out covers all operational and maintenance requirements for all involved stakeholders
  • Experience in web-based solutions involving synchronous/ asynchronous data processing
  • Knowledge of PII and the laws/regulations that govern its transmittal
  • Willingness to work a varied schedule during solution implementation periods


An ideal candidate would have:

  • Experience in the HCM, HRIS, and Payroll management software industry
  • Experience in the health and fitness industry
  • Experience creating and/or growing a Professional Services organization in a company scale up environment;
  • Familiarity with common Professional Services Delivery Methods and Charging Methods, as well as familiarity with integrating subcontractors into a project
  • Demonstrated history of managing multiple solution projects with global teams
  • A passion for "living the mission" of Gympass and engaging the world in activity

In New York, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Washington, the annual base salary range for this role is $123,648 - $154,560. The base salary range for other locations may vary. Actual base salary will be dependent on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications and/or other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role may also be eligible to participate in either our annual bonus plan or a sales incentive plan, and our performance-based stock option program.
