Why You Will Make an Impact:

Wyze is looking for an Accounting Manager of Internal Controls and Financial Reporting to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing our internal controls and assist in financial reporting and other ad-hoc projects.

A Look Inside the Role:

• Lead the design and implementation of controls across the Company.
• Create control documentation including process narratives, flowcharts, and risk & controls matrices to be used to identify and evaluate controls.
• Meet/walkthrough with process owners to validate any changes to processes.
• Manage month/year-end financial reporting and documentation.
• Research and prepare technical accounting position papers when needed.

You Already Have These Qualifications and Love What You Do:

• 5+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

And Even Better if the Following Applies to You:

• 5+ years of experience in a Big 4 accounting firm with Fortune 500 clients or 5+ years of SEC reporting experience with high growth public companies in e-commerce, consumer technology, distribution, retail, etc
• CPA, CIA or equivalent
• Working knowledge of the COSO internal control framework and a solid understanding of the risks and controls from both compliance and process enhancement perspectives
• Familiarity with GAAP and FASB codification
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
