Overview

BitTitan is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to be responsible for tracking and recording vendor invoices, reviewing employee expense reports, and preparing accounts payable reports for management. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, customer service oriented, with excellent attention to detail. This role will interact with everyone in the company including members of BitTitan’s leadership team and will be an integral part of the day-to-day operations of the Finance team.

In This Role, You Will: 

• Perform all accounting work necessary to ensure accounts payable are processed in a timely and efficient manner
• Receive all vendor invoices, match to purchase orders, and route for required approvals
• Post vendor invoices in the accounting system and code to proper GL account
• Prepare vendor payments for processing
• Collect W-9 and remittance information to set-up new vendors
• Prepare and file 1099s in compliance with IRS regulations
• Respond to vendor inquiries
• Process payments by check, ACH, wire transfer in both USD and foreign currencies
• Generate weekly management reports on accounts payable activity
• Review employee expense reports to ensure accurate GL account classification and compliance with company policy
• Review and process purchase orders
• Manage company credit cards and ensure timely submission of monthly reports by cardholders
• Support other members of the Finance team, as needed

We would love to speak with you if you have: 

• 2+ years’ experience in business environment, preferably in accounts payable
• Associates Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or equivalent education or experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous experience with accounting systems and processes (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, NetSuite)
• Experience processing payments by check, ACH, wire transfer in both USD and foreign currencies
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to communicate effectively within the Finance team as well as with others throughout the organization
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• Well organized and able to prioritize tasks while maintaining a high-level of accuracy

Extras That Will Give You an Edge: 

• Knowledge of Sage Intacct and Concur preferred
• Previous experience in Procurement
