The Job:

 

Tango Card is looking for an Accounts Payable supervisor to really own and improve the AP experience in our organization. This position will be very hands on with various technology solutions, individuals and groups across the organization and will have a great impact on our vendor and customer experiences. We are looking for someone who can create creative and sale-able solutions to meet our growing needs.

Reports To: Sr. Director of Accounting

As an AP Supervisor at Tango Card, you’ll:

  • Act as the main point of contact for company payables
  • Supervise AP Specialist
  • Perform and supervise day to day processing of all payable transactions
  • Review AP entries for accuracy and completeness
  • Create, review and maintain vendor records in NetSuite
  • Invoice review/entry into NetSuite
  • Apply/review payments in NetSuite
  • Create/review beneficiaries in the banking system for Vendor ACH and Wire payments
  • Initiate payments in the banking system
  • Implement new payment procedure within the banking system
  • Create and maintain approval flow for company payables
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Review AP entries for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with upload and data management within NetSuite and Banking platforms
  • Assist with documentation of processes and procedures
  • Train and cross-train company team members to secure effective coverage
  • Manage corporate credit card program including identifying opportunities to improve the process
  • Assist FP&A department with special projects and duties as requested

Our ideal role title at Tango Card will have most of the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent aptitude for technology and available solutions
  • Familiar with Corporate card program set up and management
  • Familiar with banking payment products that help streamline payments out
  • Participate in systems integration with ERP and banking platforms
  • Familiar with Expense reporting platforms
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • 4+ years of accounts payable experience, high volume a plus
  • Comfortable with designing and improving procedures using technology to create efficiencies
  • Comfortable with Excel, Google Docs, Gmail, and learning new software systems
  • Need to possess a basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping
  • Experience with NetSuite and business online banking a huge plus
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across a variety of mediums
  • Ability to learn quickly, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure
