    An exciting opportunity is available for a Director of Commercial Finance within our Lodging Strategic Partners group! LSP is a crucial organization and leads core relationships with the largest global lodging partners across 200+ countries. These lodging partners are valued suppliers as well as B2B customers.
     

    The Lodging Strategic Partners (LSP) team is responsible for the negotiating and managing the commercial relationships with our largest global lodging partners across 200+ countries. This is an integral role reporting into the Senior Director of Commercial Finance, acting as a key business partner to the LSP leadership team. As a member of the LSP Finance team you will drive models for commercial negotiations, provide strategic analysis and guidance as well as support ad hoc financial analysis, insights and synthesis. LSP Finance also plays a core role in the quarterly and annual forecast process, compliance reporting and data stewardship.

    What You'll Do

    • Lead a team providing commercial finance support and business partnership to the LSP team.
    • Develop and evolve models in support of complex deal negotiations.
    • Work cross functionally across Expedia Group on critical initiatives to grow supply partnerships.
    • Deliver insightful reporting P&L performance, return on investment and working capital.
    • Share commercial finance knowledge to expand eye for business and support decision making.
    • Lead financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and reporting for LSP, ensuring key deadlines are met.
    • Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Analytics and Market Management teams on LSP partnership evolution.

    Who you are:

    • 7+ years of experience, including commercial finance and deal modelling in a global fast paced industry, with B2B and in a technology or travel tech environment
    • Consistent record of leadership with demonstrable success in supporting commercial negotiations as a finance leader
    • Ability to build relationships and influence senior leaders
    • Extensive experience analyzing data and presenting it in a compelling format to drive action
    • Experience with accounting, business modelling and financial analysis to build partnerships with leaders
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience interacting with senior management
    • A skilled people leader, passionate about developing talent
    • Very strong in Excel modelling (Pivots, Formulas and Macros) – SQL experience is a plus
    • Proven experience working with cross functional teams across multiple time zones
    • A proactive problem solver
    • University degree educated
