What You’ll Do

We are seeking an experienced, analytical, and highly motivated finance leader to be our Director of Finance, Go-To-Market.  The Director of Finance, GTM will lead a team of four to partner with the Chief Revenue Officer and the Chief Marketing Officer :

  • Lead and manage the GTM finance team, including GTM analysts and the Sales Compensation team
  • Partner with the CRO and CMO on long and short-term financial planning relating to all topline metrics (bookings, revenue, ARR, pipeline) by product, business type, geography, etc.
  • Work closely with the CRO and Sales Ops on capacity planning, sales compensation plans, quota setting, and monthly commission payments
  • Prepare sales productivity analyses and provide actionable recommendations to executive management
  • Identify risks and opportunities that drive financial results and effectively communicate to the CRO, CMO and Finance
  • Partner with Corporate FP&A team to consolidate operating budgets and commissions forecasts, as well as maintain and improve financial models/reports that track and analyze functional costs and their impact on the company’s overall performance
  • Drive reporting, forecasting and process improvements, including developing dashboards
  • Provide ad hoc analyses and key messages to Executives and Sales leadership on financial results, key business trends, and current and future business opportunities and risks
  • Partner with multiple functions including the Corp FP&A tem, Sales & Sales Ops, Marketing, and others to ensure strategic and analytical alignment, as well as data consistency and efficiency
  • Prepare presentation materials in support of Monthly Reporting Packages, Quarterly Business Reviews and Executive/Board level presentations

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for a Director of Finance,GTM  who can help us grow to the next level as a company. Although the best candidates are more than the sum of their parts, as a starting point for this position you’ll need the following background:

  • 12+ years of progressive FP&A experience, within in a P.E. or Public environment is a plus
  • SaaS GTM Finance experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business; MBA preferred 
  • Superior relationship-building and influence management skills in interactions with senior leaders, peers, business partners
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop finance talent and cultivate a high performing team
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle competing priorities
  • High proficiency in Excel and experience with financial budgeting tools is required.  SFDC, Tableau, NetSuite, Anaplan competency a plus
