What You’ll Do

As a leader on our Finance team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our commissions process runs smoothly from end to end:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Sales Operations to optimize territory design & planning, comp design, quota setting, and business analytics including comprehensive analysis of rep attainment and commissions expense versus plan
  • Support the activities needed for the development, implementation, communication and administration of sales commission or incentive programs, plans, policies and quotas
  • Maintain current and establish new internal controls and processes to ensure compliance with internal and external audit practices and documentation
  • Generate internal documentation on compensation plans, reporting guidelines and compensation related FAQs and manage employee inquiries
  • Ensure accurate commission/incentive award payments to sales personnel based on commission plan provisions
  • Work with partners to research and resolve commissioning issues and/or exceptions
  • Proactively find opportunities for change, operational improvement, and system enhancements
  • Partner with Business Applications and Sales Ops to design and buildout enhancements to the Anaplan commissions software tool
  • Work with Sales Enablement and Sales Ops to build Anaplan training material for the sales team to increase adoption
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure the timeliness and completeness of pay amounts and accounting treatment
  • Prepare presentation materials in support of Monthly Reporting Packages, Quarterly Business Reviews and Executive/Board level presentations

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for a Finance Manager who can help us grow to the next level as a company. Although the best candidates are more than the sum of their parts, as a starting point for this position you’ll need the following background:

  • 7+ years of experience in commissions planning/execution, financial planning and analysis,  cross-functional collaboration
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business; MBA a plus 
  • Experience with Anaplan, as well as Anaplan or another SW tool for commissions is required
  • Familiarity with Netsuite, Salesforce, and Tableau a plus
  • A desire to develop and grow, with a willingness to experiment in order to learn
  • A tendency towards working for the greater good while being a transparent and supportive teammate
  • Familiarity with corporate accounting and GAAP.
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and the ability to create and analyze complex financial models, including forward-forecasting models
  • Passion for producing deliverables that are accurate, professional in appearance, and timely
  • Appreciation for the complex interaction of various financial systems and the desire to learn new systems that maximize efficiencies and improve the quality of reporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the company
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment backed with the results-driven and self-motivated enthusiasm to meet or exceed deadlines and expectations #LI-AB1
