Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be part of a team that truly collaborates and promotes growth in accounting and finance. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the day to day accounting functions to ensure compliance and accuracy of our financial data. The primary responsibilities include the complete procurement to cash process, cash receivable application, credit card management, payroll, reconciliations and reporting as required by the business. If you play your cards right, you’ll have an opportunity to expand from traditional AP/AR/Payroll to contributing in all other areas of the accounting cycle.

What you should bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Eager and willingness to learn the ins and outs of an accounting/finance-oriented position
- Must be able to work cross-functionally with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft office product suite

- 1+ years of experience in an accounting/finance-oriented position
- Intacct, ADP, and Certify experience a plus
Winning the jackpot
In this role, you will have the opportunity to strongly engage with the team and business partners to learn the DoubleDown business while developing productive working relationships with internal and external business partners as you support their accounting needs. Throughout your first year, you will become proficient with purchasing, A/P, Payroll and A/R. By mastering these areas, you will become an efficient user of our accounting system and other analysis tools we use. As if that wasn’t enough, in your free time, you will also contribute to the monthly close process, establishing and maintaining best practice policies and procedures and assist with establishing and maintaining internal controls and work with external auditors as needed.
Placing your best bet - the responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable working with teams to ensure proper purchase orders are properly utilized. Ensure timely payment of liabilities
- Perform weekly credit card reconciliations ensuring proper back-up and coding are obtained
- Perform reconciliations of employee expense reimbursements
- Perform bi-weekly payroll ensuring employees are paid correctly
- Perform cash applications on open accounts receivable
- Perform weekly banking activities and monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare aging analysis and purchase order spend reconciliations for month-end
- Provide analysis and reporting for business partners as needed
- Assist team with month-end close processes and other projects.
- Perform year-end related tasks
- Perform other accounting functions as assigned
