As a key member of the Finance team, the ​Senior Director, FInancial Planning & Analysis (Product Delivery & Engineering) will play a strategic role in the overall financial management of the Software & Engineering functions. You will have primary responsibility for providing key decision support for senior executives across all functional areas and for working with the senior leadership team in setting strategic direction. This will include direct responsibility for budgeting, forecasting and Board of Directors reporting.

What You Will Do:

  • The role will be very hands-on, and require a generalist understanding of FP&A, supervising a small team of 2 (two) to start.
  • Lead annual planning and year-over-year financial strategic planning to evaluate the company’s operational and strategic decisions.
  • Lead financial forecasts throughout the year, monthly and quarterly.
  • Execute the process to continuously update financial pacing to assess the momentum of the business against forecast and against plan.
  • Maintain and communicate business risks/opportunities.
  • Partner with executive team to identify and implement performance improvement initiatives throughout the company.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to collect input for forecast and to understand the drivers of the forecast.
  • Analyze the drivers and issues for business performance variances.
  • Direct ad hoc strategic, financial and operational analyses.
  • Build, lead and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
  • Lead financial performance monitoring and improvement plans.

What You Bring:

  • The role will be very hands-on, and require a generalist understanding of FP&A, supervising a small team of 2 (two) to start.
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible financial, business and strategic planning experience.
  • 5+ years of global FP&A management experience.
  • Proven experience in leading, training, and developing a high-performing FP&A Team.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the Software, Engineering, and Security functions preferably in a SaaS based or Tech environment.
  • Experience in a SaaS or Tech company and in a startup or high-growth environment preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar or equivalent relevant experience. 
  • Strong Leadership presence, along with superior presentation skills with regular interaction and demonstrations to the Executive team and Board.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for using data to drive better decision making.
  • Ability to build partnerships with all levels of management, cross-functional business partners and corporate functions.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Proven track record of achieving results in a matrixed, time sensitive environment.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and hands-on environment, seamlessly moving between strategy and execution.
  • Ability to travel
