Job Description
The Solution Consulting (pre-sales) organization is a vital and well-respected part of the sales eco-system at ServiceNow who set and expect high standards regarding interactions with prospects and customers and also internally, with a focus on performance. ServiceNow is currently seeking a Senior Solution Consultant. This Senior Solution Consultant will provide technical sales partnership to the enterprise sales force covering Financial Services accounts.
In this role, the Senior Solution Consultant will provide prospective and existing customers with product and solution advice during sales pursuits. The Senior Solution Consultant will participate in the acquisition and retention of customers by utilizing world-class technical pre-sales solution consulting techniques to communicate the power, extensibility, and ease of use of the ServiceNow platform.
What You Get to Do In This Role:
- Partner with sales personnel in the qualification and understanding of customer needs and pre-demo requirements analysis.
- Demonstrations of ServiceNow solution(s), both standard and tailored to prospects and existing customers, both on-site and via virtual meetings.
- Provide mentoring and support to peers and other colleagues in the organization.
- Generation of customer/prospect product demonstration scripts and scenarios as well as maintaining demonstration environments
- Scoping and delivering proof of concept/proof of value engagements with prospects
- Responding to request for information (RFI) / request for proposal (RFP) documents
- Staying current on product developments/releases to a level required to confidently facilitate demonstrations and conduct proof of concept workshops.
- Supporting marketing events, including user conferences, regional trade shows, and webinars, etc.
- Staying current on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators between ServiceNow and its competitors.
- Obtaining and maintaining valid ServiceNow solution certifications.
- Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the products including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, security specific to the Financial Services industry.
- In conjunction with sales personnel and professional services, conduct transition briefing - communicate commitments, expectations etc. in preparation for solution deployment.
- Act as the ServiceNow subject matter expert at executive briefings/industry events
Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
- 5+ years of strong enterprise software pre-sales experience.
- Strong understanding of shared services/support center environments.
- Experience with Financial Services customers is a plus.
- Exhibits prior or current technical expertise in enterprise SaaS-based web technologies and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
- ServiceNow product experience desirable.
- Able to articulate and logically communicate concepts with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to include technical and business concepts.
- Understanding of and experience selling to enterprise architecture.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is highly desired but not required
- Advanced ServiceNow Certifications including Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) a plus but not required

Flexible
A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
