Role Description

We are looking for a passionate Tax Manager to join our team. You will support the tax reporting and compliance processes and assist with our tax accounting and direct tax functions.  You'll be joining a fast-paced, dynamic multinational enterprise and will gain experience in a wide range of tax disciplines.  Our ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical and enthusiastic, and has strong technical and communication skills. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with ASC 740 tax provision and tax accounting processes
  • Review federal, state & local tax returns and estimates, ensuring timely payments
  • Analyze and reconcile tax accounts and perform flux analyses
  • Prepare financial statement disclosures related to income taxes
  • Develop and document tax positions
  • Assist with tax audits and assessments
  • Drive process efficiencies in the tax return processes, including leveraging automation
  • Perform and document SOX controls for tax accounting and reporting
  • Actively monitor and analyze federal, state and local tax legislation that may impact our operations
  • Manage the tax accounting for key deferreds including FAS 123R (ASC 718)
  • Manage special projects, including input and advice on day-to-day tax matters

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of combined corporate tax and public accounting experience
  • You're able to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities
  • You have a strong understanding of ASC 740
  • You're resourceful and have remarkable analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • You sweat the details and can drive projects to completion
  • You‘re able to engage and collaborate with other teams across Finance and beyond
  • You can communicate complex tax concepts in ways that are meaningful and useful to non-tax personnel
  • Tech sector experience preferred;  SAAS environment a plus
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus
  • Intermediate+ level experience with Excel
  • You've got a B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting; C.P.A. or MST strongly preferred
