As the Director of Recruiting at FLEXE you will lead the recruiting function at FLEXE and will directly manage recruiting efforts across all company functions to ensure high quality hiring. This role will create a framework for long term growth, identify diversity programs and double the size of our team. This position will report to the VP of HR.

Responsibilities

  • Identification and facilitation of key talent acquisition initiatives and projects for the recruiting team, stakeholders and hiring partners 
  • Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of the recruiting team.
  • Establish trust and earn confidence of management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally (e.g. Tech/Product, Operations, Legal, Finance, Marketing, HR, etc.).
  • Advise hiring managers on recruiting strategy, including immigration and market trends.
  • Contribute to building and communicating FLEXE’s employer brand as an organization that prioritizes diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Lead, augment, and form new relationships with external partners and events that promote a diverse and inclusive pipeline of talent across levels and functions.
  • Develop metrics, compile & analyze data to support business decisions, hiring plans and measure performance 
  • Design and implement efficient recruiting processes for all roles across the organization to provide for an excellent candidate experience
  • Manage end-to-end executive and third party search engagements from contract negotiation, to candidate contact and on-boarding including research, engagement strategies, candidate experience, and communication with all stakeholders along the way.
  • Develop critical training and development programs for interviewers, hiring managers, and recruiters to ensure our recruiting approaches and processes are supporting candidates from all backgrounds for success. 
  • Capture and maintain accurate market, client and candidate information on our internal recruiting system to facilitate the search process, streamline HRIS processes, and enable accurate reporting and metrics
  • Deliver results with little supervision and effectively handle multiple projects and initiatives to timeline and business expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ of recruiting experience within a corporate environment.
  • 6+ years’ experience of managing recruiters and sourcers.
  • Proven success building and/or expanding a recruiting function, which includes developing strategies, tactics and measurements to manage professional and senior level recruitment.
  • Experience recruiting in the tech industry
  • Experience and understanding of Inclusion & Diversity strategies to attract, engage, support and hire diverse groups of candidates.
  • Strong Interpersonal and communication experience.
  • Experience partnering with teams and clients, including senior management.
  • Experience using talent market insights and recruiting data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of building trusted working relationships with leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Demonstrated track record of creating processes and procedures to drive recruiting efficiency and enabling early stage companies to scale. 
  • Understanding of employment laws sufficient to help ensure hiring processes are compliant and inclusive
  • Proven influence & leadership skills; ability to effectively collaborate, lead and drive the recruitment process with hiring managers and candidates.
