The People Team at Assurance is looking for a passionate employee experience professional to join us in building out a brand new, rapidly growing team of employees. In this role, you’d specialize in helping onboard large groups of new employees into regularly recurring training classes. You’ll be empowered to create an amazing experience for these new employees at the very impactful moment that they are entering the company.
Operating in an agile startup environment, you’ll be given plenty of room to design experiences that you know will surprise and delight our new employees. You have an eye for process efficiency and improvement, and you’ll always be seeking opportunities to innovate what we’re doing.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Bring new hires from the point of offer acceptance through their first days as a new employee, providing a 5-star experience every step of the way.
- Create experiences that are transparent, fast, simple and supportive.
- Navigate our talent platforms (Lever, Paylocity, Jira) to onboard new employees.
- Work closely with our IT team to facilitate equipment requests and shipping.
- Troubleshoot new hire issues along the way while working with a high volume of new employees.
- Design and document our processes, all with an eye for efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
- 2+ years of experience in HR or Recruiting and/or experience working in hospitality.
- Desire to work in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to build strong relationships and help new employees succeed once they're on the job.
- Comfort with making decisions when you’re empowered to operate independently.
- An analytical approach, using data to help drive your work and continue improving.
