About the Role:

RealSelf is looking for an experienced and innovative Head of Learning and Development to independently lead a brand new function at RealSelf and bring our learning and development programs fully in-house. This role will be the key driver in connecting employees to the consumer experience and will create learning experiences that onboard, develop, and set every RealSelf employee up for success.

In this role you will:

• Create agile training programs that are responsive to our quickly changing business environment
• Develop programs to connect each RealSelf employee to our consumer experience and push employees to live our core values
• Perform qualitative and quantitative assessments to gather data and develop new training based on those assessments
• Oversee the professional development granting program
• Support our career pathing team and program
• Partner with HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and the HR Program Manager to support all aspects of the employee learning life cycle (on-boarding, manager training, etc).
• Partner with leaders across the company to better understand what our teams need to be successful.

About You:

We’re looking for someone who acts as a complete owner of Learning and Development at RealSelf. This person should be passionate about employee learning programs and skilled in connecting employees to the core values and business goals of the company.

You may be the right fit if you have:

• 5-7 years of learning and development experience, preferably in the technology industry.
• Familiarity with learning management systems.
• Strong communicator with a high EQ.
• Ability to test and learn to make program modifications. Speed wins.
• Demonstrated success in developing training programs that effectively address a business need.
• Strength in integrating business goals into training programs.
• Bachelors in Education/Organizational development preferred.

Travel: Minimal travel anticipated for this role.

Work Environment: 

The RealSelf office sits in a historic Pioneer Square building. Employees also have the option to bring their dogs to work!
