About the Human Resources department:

About the position:

The core of the HR People Ops function is building an employee lifecycle system to connect each employee’s journey from start to finish. The HR People Ops Manager’s responsibilities include New- Hire On-Boarding, HR and Legal Compliance, applying company policies and managing internal HR systems. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive HR experience and good knowledge of Human Resources Management software.

Reporting to the CPO, you also directly support the Director of HR and to ensure our systems are integrated, initiatives are effective, and reporting provides value to the business. The role has four key responsibilities:

  1. New hire on-boarding
  2. HR and Legal Compliance 
  3. HR systems, data and reporting 
  4. HR Business operations 

Responsibilities would include:

  • Offer letters
  • Pre-hire to Week 1 on-boarding
  • Permanent hire on-boarding
  • Onboarding documentation and tools
  • New hire data entry 
  • Program manage on-boarding process- systems
  • FLSA compliance
  • Management of all HR compliance policies
  • Document retention 
  • External Audits 
  • HR Policy creation and retention
  • Management of all employment data 
  • On-boarding systems– Greenhouse
  • Manage Employee Data workflow, business rules and approval matrix
  • Reporting of employment data
  • Management of internal HR questions 
  • Recommend automation of HR systems to support growth, scale. 
  • PayScale administration
  • Termination processes
  • Benefit Communication (including 401k)
  • Benefits administration
  • Management of job classification
  • Develop HR Ops team as a high performing team, serving as a ‘feeder’ to other HR functions

Requirements:

  • 2+years experience in an Human Resources Operations role
  • 1+years of experience managing people
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks at once 
  • Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Proven work experience in an operational role
  • Ability to quickly learn and train on complex systems
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Effective research and evaluation skills
  • Project management experience
  • High aptitude for improving operational efficiencies
  • Detail-oriented, strong administrative abilities
  • Clear communication through reporting
