We are seeking a high energy HR & Office Administrator to join our small but mighty team in our Seattle office. This role will include a wide variety of administrative tasks supporting our Office Manager and Director of HR. You will excel in this role if you have strong communication skills, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. This role provides opportunity to make a valuable impact across our entire organization while learning the basics of Human Resource Management and operations.

In the HR & Office Administrator role you will:

  • Manage workflow and create smooth processes for backup administrative support of CEO and CFO; i.e. drafting, editing and distributing correspondence by email and mail; coordinating meetings and group events; and submitting/tracking internal request.
  • Develop solid knowledge of corporate policies and practices and handle sensitive company information with confidentiality and discretion
  • Manage all food, snack and drink orders to budget and order food for company events including bi-weekly lunches for the Seattle office
  • Retrieve mail from mailroom daily, sort and distribute mail
  • Maintain supplies as needed for workstations
  • Coordinate Floor Wardens and training and act as Floor Warden Lead
  • Assist in the background check, onboarding and orientation process for all new employees
  • Manage the internal HR Alias and coordinate special projects/ schedules
  • Run employee reports and complete audits through ADP
  • Arrange and schedule both internal and external team meetings & agenda.
  • Assist/manage expense reports for Director of HR 

Our ideal HR & Office Administrator will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, AA degree, or applicable work experience
  • 1+ years experience as an office or HR assistant in a professional work environment
  • Experience with MS Office applications; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Detail oriented, strong administrative skills
  • Self-sufficient and tactful communicator with internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for the task at hand
  • Understanding of a fast-paced environment with a realistic sense of urgency and flexibility
  • Prior small company/start-up experience a plus
