Job Summary

We are looking for someone passionate about crafting learning sessions to join our education practice. 

The Learning Session Lead will drive all aspects of our project work including research, learning session design, project management, relationship management, as well as presenting and facilitating. A successful Learning Session Lead deeply understands the perspectives and needs of the audience, and creatively crafts learning experiences to meet those needs. They communicate clearly, are able to collaborate fluidly with our tight-knit team of Strategists and Designers, and are comfortable interacting with people at all levels of our client’s organizations. We welcome non-traditional paths into iF: our team is full of people with unique backgrounds and experiences.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Partner with clients and other iFsters throughout a project's life cycle to define project goals and requirements and deliver on the vision
  • Investigate and distill large volumes of information on a given topic (e.g., “the internet of things” or “Data Privacy and Security”) into key insights and / or concise frameworks
  • Work closely with visual/graphic and UX designers to craft engaging and impactful content in various formats (e.g., presentations or printed materials)
  • Prepare and present findings / reports to clients
  • Facilitate discussions, interactive activities, and the overall learning session
  • Write and edit reports, presentations whitepapers, and website copy

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years as a facilitator, teacher, or designer of learning experiences
  • Experience translating complex information into content that can be understood easily by multiple audiences
  • Ability to think strategically and tackle problems from multiple perspectives
  • Strong work ethic and close attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency in standard office tools such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience working at an equity-focused organization
  • Strong command of the spoken and written word
  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Comfort with ambiguity
  • 2+ years working in K-12 or postsecondary education preferred
  • 6-10 years career experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent required

Salary and Benefits

iF offers a benefits package that includes domestic partner benefits, parental and adoption leave. This position is on-site in Seattle. We do not offer a relocation package. 

The base salary for this role ranges from $75,000-$110,000 depending on relevant experience.
