The FLEXE Operations/Logistics team is searching for a talented Learning Specialist who can help build Learning programs that are a competitive advantage for FLEXE. This role reports to the Learning Manager and will initially focus on Learning for everyone in the Operations function, which includes Logistics, Project Management, Warehouse sourcing, Fulfillment solutions, and Transportation. As start-up Tech Logistics company, the Warehouse Management System (WMS) is at the cornerstone of everything we do, and we are building teams who will need to quickly come up to speed on how FLEXE and the WMS work. This environment requires our Learning tools and programs to scale with the new teams at FLEXE, to be agile, to evolve as our software functionality expands. You can help us build a world class internal learning offering by bringing your vision and desire to build content and materials to quickly onboard new team members into the FLEXE world. Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop learning content needed to onboard new team members to FLEXE, specifically related to the WMS/OMS (Order Management System) fulfillment flows and functions that support deal flow
  • Build learning content using videos, self directed learning, SOPs
  • Build processes to enable updates to the content as software and processes evolve
  • Collaborate with other learning team members
  • Incorporate Process training as need for specific roles and business use cases (for ex: Deal scoping, Deal sourcing, eCommerce vs. wholesale vs. same day)
  • Define where needs of different teams overlap, and where tools or processes can be built to streamline/align work processes
  • Measure / Assess if the onboarding content is meeting the needs of the team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors / 4+ years' experience in instructional design, distance learning, corporate training,
  • Experience with design, pilot and of launch new curriculum for performance-based support
  • Experience with digital training platforms (Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and Audition), animation (Vyond), and related SCORM or xAPI compliant learning management systems (LMS) which provide data to measure learning outcomes
  • Prior experience conducting video training sessions, using digital video learning platforms, video production experience is a plus
  • Experience with instructional design models and methodologies (ADDIE. SAM, Kirkpatrick)
  • Ability to create content that is easy to follow and effective in communicating key steps and how-tos
  • Ability to run a run a project from conception to completion, including scope definition, stakeholder and resource management, statusing, and metrics
  • Ability to travel up to 10% in a post-COVID environmentThis role is fully remote
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without restriction. We will not be sponsoring visas for this role at this time

Bonus Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Logistics and/or Learning in a warehouse environment required
  • Experience producing training for distribution center staff, using any Warehouse Mgt. System software (Manhattan, Red Prairie, High Jump, etc) 
  • Experience delivering training solutions to operational teams
  • Ability to clearly summarize and communicate feedback from a variety of Logistics services providers to arrive at actions to improve training
