Our company is a well-financed, financial technology start-up located in Seattle. Currently we are just over 20 employees and are looking for an experienced Recruiter to help us deliver our game changing product/platform. At Transparent Systems we are transforming global financial settlements with an open universal platform that enables secure, frictionless payments through distributed cryptographic systems. Our product offering supports applications from B2B payments and cash management for financial institutions to cross border transactions and remittances.

What you’ll be doing:

Fully partnering with the business to hire top talent… 

•Define requirements for future and current roles.

•Use data to identify gaps in process relative to quality, efficiency, effectiveness, etc.

•Develop external Talent Sourcing plan to include sourcing framework and corp. intell that yields world-class Candidate Attraction and Candidate Experience.

•Assess candidates and bring them through the interview process through their 1st day.

•Maintain Operational Compliance & Excellence.

•Work w/People Leader to design, develop and implement a variety of Recruiting initiatives (let’s chat:)

•Work w/People Leader to evaluate recruiting tool set and make changes or adds if needed.

•Other things that we haven’t thought of yet that could be beneficial to the company relative to Recruiting.

By the end of your first 30 days you should be fully acclimated and co-owning Recruiting in partnership with People Leader. The People Leader will give you a fabulous on-boarding and set you up for success!

What does successful look like?

•You have a thriving partnership with all stakeholders.

•You fully understand the hiring plan and have met hiring targets.

•You have proactively identified gaps and implemented solutions for those gaps.

•You have maintained a core set of recruiting metrics (we’ll discuss) and adjusted if needed.

•Your ATS data is 100% clean.

•You've demonstrated that you can recruit and hire for a variety of roles. (Principal Engineering, Legal, Product and UX, Program Management, new grads, interns, etc.).

•You've implemented processes, programs, other that have increased the effectiveness of hiring.

What you bring to us:

•Your flexibility and situational awareness. You know when to hold your ground but also know when to choose a different path.

•Your consultative demeanor. You think of the stakeholders and make sure solution is positive for everyone involved.

•Your ability to think short and long term. You make positive and programmatic change and you bring people along with you.

•Your outstanding communication skills. You have a strong executive presence and you communicate what you mean and think holistically

•Your love of data. You use data effectively and you understand that data doesn’t always necessarily mean numbers – you realize that numbers are only part of the entire picture.

•Your understanding of recruiting tools. You understand how Recruiting tools work and use them effectively (ATS, sourcing tools, HRIS, other, etc.)

•Your understanding of how to do research and gather competitive intelligence and how that enables sourcing, competitive candidate offers (including benefits and perks), your own efficiency, etc. 

•Your understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for hiring and HR related activities.

•Your love for diversity. (We’ll discuss!)

•You bring 5+ years recruiting in a full-life cycle environment within a tech company, preferably with some start-up experience mixed in. 

•You’ve designed and developed frameworks to fill Talent Pipelines. You’ve proven that you can drive a continuous stream of highly qualified candidates to a company.

•Your Systems Thinking. You know that your ability to analyze and recognize how a system's parts interrelate and how sub-systems work over periods of time within the context of larger systems is critical to your success. 

•Your curiosity!

•You’ve demonstrated that you have a deep propensity for business acumen

•Your desire to grow and learn by working in a start-up. (This isn’t easy but it’s a blast!)
