About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our North America Finance Team.  This individual will be accountable for supporting our day-to-day transactions, including payroll processing and expense accounting. The Senior Payroll Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the regional finance leader in running a key part of financial & HR operations.  You will share the responsibility for driving the continuous success of OpenMarket and InfoBip. Tasks that you will work on will be operational and of high importance for the company. 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the end-to-end payroll process in North America (USA and Canada).
  • Provide general activities of calculation and control of salaries and contributions, calculation and control of various pay suspensions, deductions or bonuses.
  • Ensure that all data required for payroll calculation and payroll processing is fully obtained within legal deadlines.
  • Provide cross-training, assistance and guidance to other unit employees in payroll accounting processes, department procedures, and regulatory standards governing the work.
  • Manage and calculate taxes and deductions, gather information on hours worked for each employee, calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc.
  • Follow the legislation as well as internal processes and procedures related to the calculation and payment of salaries, bonuses and other payroll related documents.
  • Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
  • Act as liaison with other departments, divisions, or organizations and manage questions regarding payroll from employees.
  • Maintain current knowledge of payroll policies and procedures changes and updates.

What to Bring

  • 5+ years of experience working in payroll.
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Workday a plus.

Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required.

This position is open in Seattle, WA or Jersey City, NJ.
