With that, Heptio is seeking an Sr. HR Generalist on our Employee Success team to help Heptio scale for our high velocity growth.

You are interested in taking a proactive and analytical approach to HR, Talent Management, and People & Organization development. You are ambitious about creating inclusive and equitable HR policies and processes that create an industry changing employee experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING...

  • Coordinate and own employee success programs, including but not limited to, new hire orientation, compensation analysis, benefits administration
  • Own the entire onboarding process to ensure all new Heptio employees have a smooth and supported entrance into our company. Manage day to day communication and relationships with vendors and brokers
  • Partner with outside counsel to ensure best practices surrounding new hire documents
  • Ensure all distributed locations are workplace complaint. Manage end-to-end process for documentation (updates, changes, etc.)
  • Work cross functionally to update and track all company-wide compensation changes, updates and market adjustments
  • Play a key role in selecting and implementing Heptio’s new HRIS, and other HR technology as the company continues to scale
  • Build and manage an employee success dashboard that captures metrics and progress around employee engagement and other HR Analytics (i.e. retention, employee survey outcomes )

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS...

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of HR generalist experience
  • Experience running and executing on HR programs across benefits administration & claims, performance reviews, onboarding, compensation, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience acting as a project manager from start to finish on HR related programs and projects
  • Extremely personable and approachable with strong emotional intelligence
  • Excellent Excel skills and analytical abilities (able to capture, distill and organize data to tell a story)
  • In depth experience managing HR systems and tools
  • Highly organized with a bias for action
  • Ability to work in a high-growth/high-velocity, ambiguous environment
  • Operate with a high level of integrity, confidence and thoughtfulness
