The Sr. Manager, People Operations and Systems will lead the HRIS Operations function for Outreach. This position has overall responsibility for providing vision and strategic leadership for the solutions that inspire and empower our people. This role will have oversight and responsibility for all people-related systems, processes, data and reporting.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, implement and oversee our digital People roadmap and People service delivery model
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with People Leadership to champion, influence, and advise on current and future people solutions
  • Lead and develop a team capable of consistently delivering expert consultation and high quality systems, projects, and analytics
  • Oversee portfolio of People vendors and programs in order to optimize relationships and resources
  • Key contributor to long-range strategic planning to anticipate and respond to change and to improve people productivity, costs, and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with partners across Outreach to design integrated solutions that enhance the employee experience while maintaining alignment to Outreach’s strategy
  • Develop, implement, interpret, and ensure consistent application of People Operations processes, guidelines, and programs and ensure flawless, timely, and consistent delivery
  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources
  • Manage HR systems, reporting/analytics, and end-user experience strategy
  • Optimizing People Tech systems (Core HRIS, Payroll & Benefit Integration points, Time & Attendance, etc..) to meet workforce requirements, crafting opportunities for automation, reduction of manual processes, and simple processes that help drive accuracy and completeness
  • Performing regular business process reviews, reviewing improvement lists, making ongoing suggestions and building plans to put into action
  • Leading a high performing team and culture of accountability that ensures delivery of timely, quality services and meets Service Level Agreements
  • Assessing quality and timeliness of work and providing constructive and timely feedback
  • Leading the projects and teams: obtaining key partner agreement, developing requirements, building/testing, preparing plan for change management, go live, and conducting post-mortem feedback improvements
  • Partner on RFI and RFP efforts
  • Lead system upgrade or migration to new vendor or module
  • Leading compliance efforts through SOX, Corporate Audits, internal/external audits, and Privacy (GDPR, CCPA)

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with multiple People systems including HRIS SaaS solutions, applicant tracking systems, and learning management systems
  • Demonstrated involvement with building and leading high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive culture; experience in public accounting or professional services environment
  • Strong business acumen in order to fully comprehend Outreach’s strategy and lead the implementation of effective HR solutions while building trusted relationships and positively influencing others in a virtual or hybrid environment
  • Experience at the leadership level delivering innovative HR solutions in a fast paced, evolving organization; demonstrated skills in providing inspired vision and direction, analytical and conceptual skills to identify, analyze and resolve problems creatively and strategically with a sense of urgency and flexibility
  • Strong executive presence and demonstrated leaderships skills, good judgement and ability to effectively interface with employees and leaders at all levels
  • Proven ability to influence and drive change aligning people strategy with business goals
  • Experience with ADP and Workday preferred--Sapling experience is a plus!
