Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist /HR Partner

We are looking for: The Talent Acquisition/HR Coordinator position reports to the Director of HR and will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s recruiting efforts including full cycle recruiting, including technical recruiting, collaborating with department and hiring managers, coordinating international recruiting, and managing the Applicant Tracking System.

We want our culture to be the heartbeat of our team. In addition, this position will partner with the Human Resources team on a variety of HR initiatives including but not limited to; creating a seamless and compelling onboarding experience. Ultimately, you will play an important part in building a strong employer brand and culture for our company to ensure we attract, hire and retain the most qualified employees.

What you will do:

Recruiting:

  • Applicate Tracking System management and training
  • Supporting all external and internal recruiting efforts -
    • Headcount request process
    • Job postings
    • Resume screening
    • Coordination and conducting phone Screens – culture fit
    • Schedule coordination and calendaring for interviews
    • Provide feedback and debrief hiring managers on candidates
    • Recruiting vendor relationship management
    • Coordinating and reviewing background checks
  • Job descriptions review and update
  • Creating, updating, maintaining, and training recruitment policies and procedures
  • Maintain and report on competitor practices, industry trends, and recruitment standards
  • Work with People and Communications Specialist and Marketing –
    • Help build a unique employment brand and engaging candidate experience
    • Website Career page updates
    • Internal communications
    • HR/Recruiting pages on intranet
    • Creating marketing material for job/career fairs
  • Coaching and training hiring managers on behavioral interviewing
  • Develop and maintain recruiting matrix and dashboard
  • International recruiting coordination
  • International agency management
  • Administer referral program
  • Schedule and attend career and job fairs

Human Resources:

  • On-boarding –
    • Offer letter generation and presentation
    • Candidate/hiring manager communications – first day “what to expect”
    • Coordinate with HR for transition to onboarding
  • Hard copy and electronic file management
  • Internal HR and Recruiting communications
  • Engagement activities
  • Additional assignments

What you need to be successful (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • ATS experience with sourcing, tracking, managing candidates, and training users
  • Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Must be proactive with strong initiative; comfortable working independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to partner within the team and cross-departmentally
  • Experience managing and prioritizing strategic searches and projects
  • Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service with internal and external contacts
  • Competent in handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to handle periods of increased workload and deadlines

Education / Experience:

  • B.A. preferred
  • 4 - 7 years of experience in Recruiting in a corporate and/or agency setting and HR exposure
  • 1 – 2 years technical recruiting required
  • Project management skills
  • Experience working with ATS and HRIS systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet, Confluence and JIRA
