Job Description
As the Data Analyst Intern, you will assist our technology team in creating, analyzing, gathering, visualizing, and understanding business intelligence data. You will work alongside a mentor to drive meaningful insights for our marketing and partnerships teams along with our partner HPE.
What you'll do
- Design and build business intelligence dashboards and data visualizations for various departments
- Perform analysis and provide insights that various departments can utilize to improve business functions
- Own monthly business intelligence reporting and support other departments with ad-hoc data analysis and reporting
- Assist the Innovation and Technology team to develop data strategy
- Manage day-to-day operation of Genius League events and activations including scheduling, task assignments, and reporting to Collegiate Leadership
- Assist with the project planning, management, and delivery for Genius League activations
- Digitally engage with fans, collegiate students, and universities
- Keep a monthly blog about your experience to be showcased on HPE's website
- Work closely with our partnership team and HPE on joint events
What you'll bring
- Must be currently enrolled in a program related to Business Management, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, or Statistics.
- Juniors, Seniors, or master's degree students
- Minimum GPA 3.0 preferred
- Experience with analytics and creating reports
- Experience with Sprinklr, Tubular Labs, YouGov, Bitly, Tableau is a plus
- Experience developing in Python preferred but not required
- SQL and Git experience preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to multi-task and organize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as both an independent contributor and engage teams and teammates
