ExtraHop’s Inside Sales team is an ideal place to learn about technology sales.  You’ll have the opportunity to learn about Cyber Analytics, selling into IT, and new tools such as Salesforce.com and Outreach Sales Productivity application.  We are a dynamic, fast growing organization.  We’re seeking an outgoing, tech savvy intern to help us accelerate our lead qualification efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify marketing responses such as tradeshow responses or digital downloads.
  • Track relevant qualification and lead management activity in Outreach.
  • Research and profile accounts as needed.
  • Update lead records to improve data accuracy within Salesforce.com.
  • Set sales appointments and provide the introduction hand-off between the prospect and Sales Executive.
  • Work within a sales productivity application (Outreach) and effectively utilize the capabilities of the application.
  • Meet or exceed appointment target through phone-based prospecting & lead qualification.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition and be able to react to objections, competitive questions, and other FAQs.
  • Proactively manage your schedule, leads pipeline, and campaigns in order to meet milestones.

Requirements:

  • Prior customer facing experiences
  • Desire to learn a technical solution
  • Completion of introductory information systems class or basic knowledge of IT Networking fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct a sales qualification discussion
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work independently & proactively in a dynamic startup environment 
  • Team player with solid communication and presentation skills 
  • Ability to employ creative tactics to communicate effectively with IT staff (Individual Contributor to C-Level)
