Role Description

Come see how a legal team supports a business from the inside. Are you passionate about the law and how businesses operate? Do you love a challenging, team-focused, dynamic environment? As a legal intern, you’ll work closely with different teams across Dropbox’s Legal, Policy, Trust and Privacy department and gain tons of practical experience in the intersection of law and business. Under the supervision of our attorneys, you’ll see how an in-house legal team operates, help us build scalable legal infrastructure to serve the company, and collaborate closely with mentor attorneys and other members of the legal team.

Responsibilities

  • Youll learn how an in-house legal department works with stakeholders across the business
  • You’ll work with attorneys to help the business evaluate important issues the company faces
  • You’ll help to build and improve legal department processes

Requirements

  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm and passion for technology, law, and business
  • Interest in engaging with a variety of teams within an in-house legal department
  • Eagerness to learn new things
  • Excellent writing, communication, verbal and written, and organizational skills
  • Collaborative, team-first mindset
  • JD candidate class of 2025 (i.e. current 1L students)
Total Rewards

The expected salary rate for the role is $7,500/Monthly, subject to change.

Additional Perks + Benefits

In order to be successful in our Virtual First environment we needed to make changes that would allow employees to have more control over both where and how they work. Therefore, we embrace “non-linear workdays” with defined core collaboration hours that overlap across time zones.
