LiquidPlanner is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team. This is a highly visible role, reporting to the VP of Growth and Business Operations. The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for helping drive content strategy, develop and maintain editorial calendars, and create/edit content. 

 

The Content Marketing Manager will own the storytelling of our product and drive the next stage of our growth journey. The ideal candidate blends strong writing and editing skills with the ability to manage multiple projects from conception to completion. This role requires a high level of creativity, capacity for storytelling, attention to detail and project management skills.

The role:

  • Create and manage an editorial calendar for content planning and production.
  • Craft interesting, well-researched content (blog posts, white papers, landing pages,
    newsletters, website content, eBooks, e-mail, etc.) to drive traffic and engage and convert
    target customers.
  • Write internal messaging and positioning for product launches for our Sales and Customer
    Success teams (sales enablement materials, one-sheets, presentation decks, messaging
    docs, ad copy, etc.).
  • Manage the maintenance of the website and relationship with outside vendors.
  • Engage internal and existing customer stakeholders to identify and generate compelling
    content applications that reflect current and monetizable trends, product/market
    opportunities, address customer challenges and support sales team success.
  • Copy edit and review content for messaging, style guidelines, brand consistency, and voice.
  • Collaborate with product marketers, sales professionals, designers, and external contributors
    to produce relevant content for our audience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and opportunities.
  • Bring creative ideas to the table with a case for why they are worth investing in.
  • Contribute to a culture of experimentation and innovation.

 You have: 

  • 5 years of B2B marketing experience.
  • 3+ years of content creation.
  • Proven track record of creating a variety of engaging and valuable B2B content with a strong
    portfolio of samples.
  • Ability to curate video, webinars, and other multimedia content.
  • Experience leading projects from conception to closure, collaborating effectively with
    colleagues across functions to get things done.
  • Experience with Google Suite (Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager,
    etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with content management systems, including WordPress.

 

 You Are:

  • An excellent communicator with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Resourceful and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Highly analytical, data-driven, creative and strategic with a keen eye for small details

Location

Our office is located in Eastlake (in Seattle) with multiple restaurants + bars. We overlook Lake Union and have great views of the Space Needle!
