We're seeking a bold and ambitious Content Marketing Manager who's passionate about leveraging captivating content to generate demand. You'll create and scale a content marketing strategy that delights, engages, and supports our complex ecosystem of personas-with a strong bias towards generating leads within our primary target audience of K-12 educators and administrators.
With an unwavering commitment to detail and strategy-and an ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities-you thrive by working collaboratively and cross-functionally to ensure that high-quality content drives leads, builds our brand, and engages those we serve.
Your objective? Generate demand by creating compelling content that guides key personas along the buyer journey, from initial interest to buying and renewing.
What You'll Do

    • Write and generate captivating, engaging content to support content-driven integrated strategy. Help identify the most effective communication channels to reach relevant target groups and help to feed these channels with the appropriate messaging and content types.
    • Create and manage an editorial calendar that ensures the steady delivery of content that reinforces TutorMe's vision and brand, including but not limited to creating articles for internal and external use, blog posts, emails, website copy, webinars, e-books, white papers, solution briefs, videos, etc.
    • Own the prioritization, budgeting, and resourcing of our content investments and develop a content strategy that serves needs across marketing channels.
    • Collaborate with VP, Marketing to develop a content roadmap that builds the TutorMe brand and covers the content needs for all demand generation, website/organic search, tradeshow / events, and other marketing initiatives.
    • Align with sales, product, customer success, and other teams on roadmap for content needs and delivery.
    • Work with designers on the design and visual assets needed to execute content strategy.
    • Analyze content performance and use insights to produce better content and stay ahead of market needs.

Who You Are

    • 5+ years experience as a writer and developing content to support B2B marketing strategy.
    • 2+ years experience building, managing and running content strategy and operations, preferably in a startup environment.
    • Experience within edtech and/or marketing directly to K-12 district decision-makers and influencers. Background as a classroom educator and/or school administrator is a plus.
    • Proven work experience managing content strategy with a campaign-based, insights-led approach-and a portfolio to back it up.
    • Mastery of multiple form factors-video, podcast, long-form, short-form, social.
    • Familiarity with modern content distribution strategies and technologies and are comfortable maintaining a CMS.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, writing skills, and strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to adapt in high-growth, innovative, and fast-paced environments.
    • Ambitious self-starter and team player who's comfortable with ambiguity.
    • Strong writing skills with a natural aptitude for eloquently yet concisely conveying a message.
    • An open mind and eagerness to operate in an agile environment that embraces change. You see opportunity in uncertainty and thrive when thinking on your feet.
    • Ability to motivate and lead others in the development and execution of content projects.
    • Ability to direct and manage external teams and agencies.
    • A team-player mindset. You're always looking out for others and believe that everyone should be aligned with the vision of the company.
    • Expert knowledge of Google Workspace, especially Slides and Docs.
