Growth Marketing Manager
Overview
Our Growth Marketing Manager needs to be an expert in digital marketing and growth strategies, who can help execute our GTM strategy and drive a metrics-based demand gen approach. As one of our marketing leaders this is a key role in driving our growth and customer acquisition through prospect and customer expansion demand generation campaigns for all apps on our platform. The ideal candidate will have proven success in driving and managing digital marketing teams with both direct reports and vendors. This role will be involved in driving the vision and performance across marketing channels as well as defining budgets and optimizing spend. This position will require an ability to plan, manage and execute digital marketing and funnel optimization strategies, build campaigns, identify and learn new tools, and refine messaging for audience segments.
Core Responsibilities
Obtain market share by developing, monitoring and optimizing inbound (SEO, PPC, SEM, social media advertising, remarketing, etc.) and outbound marketing programs across our product areas
Develop and drive the execution of a holistic account-based marketing strategy
Manage and provide guidance to the marketing operations manager and various agencies to track funnel and conversion analytics
Develop and drive a robust events strategy from virtual (webcasts, etc.) to live (hopefully in 2022)
Hire and manage multiple direct reports
Work closely with sales leadership in supporting collateral and campaign needs
Aggressively work to hit both personal and organizational targets. Key metrics include MQL, campaign conversion, site traffic, page views/visits, site conversion.
Oversee 3rd Party vendors who are part of the Discuss.io ecosystem
Typical Deliverables
Weekly analysis of funnel metrics
Quarterly demand gen campaign plan
Create and constantly optimize budget plan that scales our pipeline
Prepare and present recommendations, reports, and findings from experimental data and campaigns internal, including to the leadership team, on a regular basis
Regular sales updates to ensure tight collaboration with sales, as well as listening to and leveraging sales inputs
Drive bi-weekly pipeline meetings
Skills
Expertise (5+ years) in a B2B digital marketing role, ideally also in the research space
Proven success in growth marketing and demand gen roles
Passionate about marketing tech and keep up to date with marketing tech innovations, tool, and trends
A comprehensive understanding of inbound and outbound marketing strategy and tactics
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and managing marketing automation software (Pardot)
Past experience hiring and managing growth marketing teams
Strong communication, collaboration, project management, time management, organization, and analytical skills
