Job Description
The Marketing Communications Coordinator will lead the delivery of digital and print marketing materials related to Donuts products and services. This coordinator role is critical to the organization to ensure that all marketing content - websites, social media, email, blogs, marketing campaigns, and collateral - are delivered on strategy, on time, and on budget.
Responsibilities (Job functions include, but aren’t limited to, the following):
With the Senior Director of Marketing and Marketing Managers, the qualified Marketing Communications Coordinator will do the following:
- Partner with the marketing management team to create marketing project schedules, based on overall business and marketing goals, and manage projects through to completion
- Ensure high marketing content quality by proofreading and editing materials before they are approved and published
- Comanage creative/media agency and freelance designers/copywriters to make certain their work is on strategy, on brand, and effectively helps Donuts achieve marketing goals
- Collaborate with internal and external teams outside of marketing to ensure consistent messaging and experiences
- Participate in quarterly marketing planning meetings to evolve marketing and content strategy and programs
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a marketing coordinator role, managing multiple marketing programs simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Marketing, Advertising or equivalent work experience
- Experience proofreading and editing written and visual marketing materials with the confidence to give helpful, direct feedback to designers and copywriters
- Ability to collect and use data for decision making and experimentation
- Experience with or willingness to quickly learn digital collaboration tools and content management systems
- Relationship management with external media, creative, or analytics partners/vendors
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management, verbal and written skills
- High attention to detail, ability to balance multiple priorities with excellent follow-through
- Great teammate with strong collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing business environment
