Description:

New Engen is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead strategy and execution for marketing New Engen’s software platform to customers. Key initiatives this manager will lead include product positioning, external messaging, competitive differentiation, and sales collateral. This highly visible and cross-functional role must excel at partnering with product management, sales, creative and marketing alike to drive awareness and purchase of New Engen’s SaaS platform. The ideal candidate can successfully manage and coach others to drive output and increase overall team competence. A successful person in this role is intrigued by the challenge of helping marketing teams seize the potential digital has to offer through technology and automation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads market and competitor analysis for New Engen’s software platform, extracts insights to inform positioning
  • Becomes the expert on New Engen’s SaaS customer, drives internal awareness
  • Optimizes positioning and messaging for specific customer archetypes and verticals
  • Support sales efforts by developing collateral that educates customers on New Engen’s software platform, including case studies, one-pagers, website material, and more
  • Partners with broader marketing team to create compelling, customer-focused content and events that drives brand awareness and generates leads for SaaS platform
  • Understands and can market the interconnectedness of New Engen’s software platform with New Engen’s other capabilities
  • Measures and reports on the impact of New Engen’s SaaS marketing activities
  • Other projects that support communicating New Engen’s unique brand and SaaS lead generation

Experience, skills, mindset:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus
  • 5-10 years marketing experience, for a strong B2C or B2B brand, technology or SaaS a plus
  • 5 years experience in a product marketing role, preferably at a SaaS company
  • Strong understanding of the process of product management and how product marketing relates
  • Skilled at defining and iterating on positioning
  • Experience launching new products and creating releases and go-to-market plans
  • Experience working as part of a cross-functional teams, involving sales, product management, and creative
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, existing and emerging digital channels
  • Exceptional written communication and presentation skills
  • Models leadership internally and can act as a trusted New Engen spokesperson externally
  • Creative and conceptual thinker matched with strong execution
  • Experience managing at least 1-2 individual contributors and a function
  • Embraces data and measurement to inform action
