    The Travel Partners Group is a B2B division responsible for ensuring travelers find the best of the world’s travel suppliers on Expedia Group websites.  We are committed to helping our supply partners – hotels, vacation rentals, airlines, rental car companies, activity providers, cruise lines and more – achieve their business goals.

     

    The Partner Marketing team engages our global supplier base, educating on traveler and market trends, sharing best practices and motivating actions that benefit their bottom lines. We measure success in terms of booking growth, product adoption and partner satisfaction. As the travel industry recovers from the impact of Covid-19, we are helping hundreds of thousands of businesses rebuild.

    The Product Marketing team marries insight into how our partners think with deep knowledge of how our technology can be used to profitably engage travelers, secure bookings and provide memorable guest experiences.  Reporting to the Vice President of Product Marketing, you will drive the development of value propositions, messages and go-to-market plans that inform our content and integrated campaign strategies.

    In this role, the Senior Director will lead a team of high-performing product marketers focused on introducing and driving adoption of our partner tools.  This leader will participate on the Marketing leadership team and work cross-functionally with our product, strategy, account management, service and operations teams, as well as with marketers at our leading traveler brands, including but not limited to Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, Travelocity, and Orbitz.
     

    What you will do:
    Collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, Product Management, Business Strategy, Account Management and Service to align on objectives and key results

    • Translate business objectives, market opportunities and product roadmaps into a cohesive go-to-market architecture; sizing, prioritizing and creating alignment across the organization

    • Develop and evangelize an understanding of our partner segments, their mindsets, pain points and aspirations

    • Use your passion for storytelling to craft positioning and messaging for our product solution areas and specific feature sets and programs, reinforcing the Expedia Group brand promise and commitment to partners

    • Partner with stakeholders to design and execute product introductions and adoption strategies, helping our partners rebuild following the pandemic

    • Support partner engagement/demand generation campaigns by providing insight into partner motivation and supporting the development of high-value content (white papers, webinars, landing pages, success stories, articles, etc.)

    • Deliver readiness content and assets for Account Management and Service teams, helping them effectively drive outcomes that create value for partners and travelers

    • Routinely assess and optimize our frameworks, processes and measurement tools to consistently improve outcomes

    • Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to guide the product marketing teams in their day-to-day activities

     

    Who you are:

    • Extensive expertise & best practice success across several areas including: go-to-market strategy, value-based selling, enabling diverse seller types, messaging, positioning and naming, plus a high comfort level of establishing targets, metrics and dashboards is required

    • Experience with eCommerce platforms, marketplaces and in technology companies is particularly relevant

    • Ten+ years of B2B marketing experience, combined with at least eight years in product marketing working closely with sales and product management to create awareness, drive preference and capture share for multiple product lines or businesses

    • At least five years of successful team management and development, org design and growth strategy for a globally distributed team

    • Being an active listener while valuing diverse perspectives, input and opinions will be critical to success

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present data, results and trends to internal and external executives, industry influencers and customers

    • An impressive track-record for understanding the customer mindset, pain and aspirations enabling insights and recommendations to drive strategic and collaborative decisions

    • Being able balance priorities in a “one size does not fit all” function will be crucial to the success of managing multiple campaigns
