The Egencia brand marketing team helps create and distribute our brand to the world. We are looking for a Senior Manager, Brand Marketing to build innovative, and dynamic campaigns.

We are seeking an experienced brand marketing strategist with a genuine passion for business travel to elevate our presence in the marketplace. This role requires someone to lead the brand marketing strategy for Egencia, bringing big-idea thinking to our campaigns to deepen brand love and engagement with our customers.

You will have a record of developing marketing campaigns and brand strategies rooted in business and persona insights, with the ability to develop strategy from scratch, influencing both ideas and messaging internally and externally.

You possess a knack for multi-tasking, can prioritize with ease, plus have a drive for testing and learning; leading to insight and data-based decisions.

How will you help Egencia succeed?

  • You will own all brand marketing decisions, driving both long-term strategy, pre-planned campaigns and day-to-day decisions. You’ll continuously ideate and innovate within the brand marketing space.
  • Lead the development of key brand initiatives, and proactively partner with cross-functional teams to find opportunities to drive brand engagement throughout the year.
  • Collaborate with a broad group of partners to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans, cross-channel communication strategies, generate new ideas, lead projects and resolve issues.
  • Strategic execution and management of brand campaigns, including detailed oversight and maintenance of internal documents, budget management and adherence to timelines, deliverables, and schedules.
  • Clearly communicate key marketing strategies and ideas in key marketing leadership forums. Support written presentations for senior leadership.
  • Write compelling creative briefs, and partner with creative agencies to guide and evaluate creative work.
  • You will lead the continued evolution of our brand guidelines for identity, voice and tone, and creative execution.
  • Effectively integrate data, both quantitative and qualitative, into copy, planning and problem solving.
  • Develop a depth of knowledge of both customer and prospect personas and customer journey.
  • Collaborate with designers, SEO specialist, digital, demand, customer, and segmentation marketing teams to understand project requirements and technical details to inform creative strategy.
  • Deliver results within an agile, iterative, data-focused environment.
  • Present to senior leadership regularly on plans and results.

Capacity to inspire creative teams with insight and storytelling, to develop world-class advertising and marketing initiatives and evaluate creative and marketing programs against strategy.
  • A proactive self-starter and teammate who can work independently and as part of a team. Experience leading and/or facilitating cross-functional or organizational groups. Ability to build a level of trust and respect amongst peer group and recognize the importance of solid relationships.
  • You possess strong project management experience and the ability to manage time and budgets effectively, including balancing multiple priorities to meet deadlines and navigating change with a positive attitude. Ability to identify or implement systems and process improvements as needed.

  • Proven significant experience in brand marketing strategy, advertising, messaging and digital strategy.
  • Data driven decision-making, recommending and implementing strategies that achieve measurable results, driving towards marketing team goals.
  • Understanding of how marketing programs impact the organization health and business at large, and ability to provide detailed analysis of the impact of those results.
  • A strong ability to communicate with various business and product teams, interacting with local partners, and global teams.
  • Desire to thrive in the rigors of fast-paced projects and demanding creative environments.
  • Committed to improving process, including quality of program execution.
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple deadlines and initiatives with a willingness to ask questions and a desire to communicate effectively with partners.
  • Self-directed, organized, efficient: able to lead multiple, complex decisions at once, across multiple teams, and time zones.
  • Ability to manage department and program-level budgets and resources; as well as the ability to make recommendations on spend levels, based on market shifts and changing business needs.
  • A strong, effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator.
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating your experience working on big brands and taking the impact of brand marketing to the next level.
  • Commercially-minded: develops authoritative knowledge of industry, competition, and complementary products, and businesses.
  • Experience working for a global marketing organization is preferred.
  • BA/MA degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 7-10 years brand management, and/or marketing communications experience.
