Projectline is seeking a high-energy Account Manager who is passionate about our clients – solving their problems, being curious about their businesses, asking smart questions, and recruiting talent that truly fit their needs. 

In this hybrid role you will report to the General Manager and work across all aspects of our business. You'll spend about half of your time using your people leadership skills to source, recruit, hire, coach, encourage, and engage super talented consultants and then help them drive success with their clients. The other half of the time you will be focused on account management activities to develop new business and expand our client network, as well as ongoing contributions to our long-term strategy and growth.

In this role, you'll be able to apply your entrepreneurial mindset to business development, tap into your natural networking instincts, and help our consultants succeed at their own careers and with their client assignments. Key Responsibilities:Account Management and Consultant Engagement

  • Act as ambassador of Projectline and reflect the best that we have to offer in eyes of all of our constituents – our clients, their stakeholders, our consultants, and our potential new hires
  • Own and manage relationships with your accounts to ensure successful delivery and a high level of satisfaction
  • Provide our consultants with ongoing support and training to ensure the quality of project work and professional development
  • Own client-facing weekly, monthly or quarterly reporting cycles on designated performance metrics
  • Act as a strategic advisor and partner with clients, develop a deep understanding of client business, tools and processes – and make recommendations to improve our engagement with them over time
  • Oversee client billing process for completeness and accuracy
  • Drive sales, including the creation of proposals, statements of work, client and business development outreach, forecasting and scorecards
  • Assist with inquiries and issues from the consulting community–working with our Human Resources or IT teams when required
  • Track and report new and existing business using Salesforce.com and Sage Intacct.
  • Support ongoing marketing efforts including client and employee gift and appreciation programs, blog writing, and more
  • Manage consultants including vacation approvals, quarterly business check-ins, kudos and performance feedback, etc.

Recruiting and Onboarding, Business Leadership

  • Review and clarify job specifications, competencies, and skills required with clients, peers, and managers
  • Source applicants through various methods including LinkedIn, recruiting, applicant tracking system, consulting network, and job sites
  • Programmatically develop and maintain effective relationships to build your consultant network, including past employees and alumni, former clients, and LinkedIn networks
  • Run full-cycle interview processes including talent assessments, reviewing resumes, reviewing assessments, conducting phone screens, and scheduling interviews with clients
  • Coach and prepare candidates for interviews, and provide updates throughout the process
  • Handle the onboarding process for new hires, including client set-up, systems set up, orientation, 30-60-90 day goals, etc.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the business, collaborate on new ideas and services we can offer, contribute to sales and marketing strategy, and help lead the ongoing evolution and improvement of our processes

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience recruiting, leading, and developing teams (previous experience managing remote teams a big plus)
  • 8+ years of experience in client services, client management, account management, agency experience, client-side experience in marketing or sales, recruiting, team management, with at least some B2B services experience.
  • Clear and engaging communications the and ability to meet with senior clients with confidence
  • Ambitious mindset and approach, with the ability to track performance against monthly and quarterly goals
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, independent, with strong intrinsic motivation to expand business and solve problems for clients
  • Experience with outbound recruiting methodologies, applicant tracking systems, using social media, custom emails, LinkedIn, and more
  • Grace under pressure while dealing with deadlines and fast turn-around requests from clients
  • Sense of humor, creativity, and dedication to making work fun is absolutely required!
