Associate Director Strategy and Planning Proprietary Brands
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is hiring an Associate Director Strategy and Planning Proprietary Brands to lead our best-in-class Proprietary Brands Team. In this role you will set the strategy to expand the growth of our Proprietary Brands portfolio, lead our cross-functional team to disrupt categories through innovation, and bring to market products and brands to delight our customers. You will draw industry insights, customer insights, and use the knowledge of other leaders in the organization to develop short- and long-term business plans. This leader would Think Big, be comfortable with ambiguity, and use data to drive informed decisions. You will be influencing C-suite and senior leaders to drive industry leading growth for the business. You must be highly motivated, team focused, organized, detail oriented, and must possess solid analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop business strategy for Chewy Proprietary Brands across Hard Goods, Consumables, and Healthcare to drive business growth profitably
- Develop business plans with merchandising, branding and marketing and drive successful implementation of the strategy and plans
- Develop business and financial goals, develop detailed implementation plans to achieve the goals, and successfully deliver results in partnership with multiple teams
- Influence senior leaders, peers and partners, and drive high judgment decisions
- Deliver new and existing programs successfully
What You’ll Need:
- 7+ years of experience in CPG Brand Management, Brand Development, Strategy Consulting or Merchandising
- MBA Required
- Strong analytical and data skills to solve complex problems and drive process improvements
- Think Big while being able to tactically execute plan
- Cross-functional Business Program Management
- Travel expectations: 10-15%
